Scottish Outreach and Impact in Philosophy Prize 2016

EIDYN is delighted to announce a new prize for impact and outreach in philosophy for Scottish Graduate School for Arts and Humanities (SGSAH) students and applicants.

The Scottish Outreach and Impact in Philosophy Prize 2016 will award a £500 cash prize to the best impact/ outreach proposal from a current SGSAH philosophy student or a 2016-17 applicant.

The prize is the brainchild of Dr Tillmann Vierkant, senior lecturer in philosophy of mind and cognition at the University of Edinburgh and a member of the SGSAH admissions panel.

Duncan Pritchard Creates Free Educational Materials for A-Level Students

Our own Duncan Pritchard has created a suite of educational materials to help students studying for their Philosophy A Level. These materials cover the epistemology component of the Philosophy A Level, and were commissioned by the Royal Institute of Philosophy as part of a general programme to help Philosophy A-Level students. They are freely available here.
