Free On-Line Introductory Course ('MOOC') in Philosophy

In January 2013 we launched our first 'Massive Open On-Line Course' ( 'MOOC') in Philosophy, entitled 'Introduction to Philosophy'. The course was a tremendous success, attracting 100,000 enrolments from people from all four corners of the world, and from lots of different age groups. Since then we've been revising the content of the course and producing an accompanying textbook, Philosophy for Everyone. We are now ready to run the course again. It begins in October, but registration is open now--more details are available here. The course has modules in epistemology, philosophy of science, philosophy of mind, ethics, and metaphysics. Several faculty members who run Eidyn research projects are involved, such as Dr Matthew ChrismanDr Allan Hazlett, Dr Suilin LavelleDr Michela Massimi, and Prof Duncan Pritchard.
